Workwell Partners is excited to announce the expansion of their sales team with three key new hires. These new team members signify the growth and market strength of the New York City based furniture dealer who has operations nationwide. With the hiring of a Director of Sales, A&D Account Executive, and Director of Business Development, Workwell continues to provide exceptional service with a well-rounded, consultative, passionate team.

Michael Schmieder joins the team as Director of Sales, bringing over nine years of experience in sales management in the commercial interiors industry to Workwell. Having worked for Formica Group for over 14 years, Michael’s skills include Strategic Planning, Team Development, and Relationship & Account Management, and will be an asset to Workwell’s growing team and business. Michael has studied Industrial Design Degree at Pratt Institute and has also studied Marketing and Industrial Distribution at The New School and Purdue University, respectively.

As Workwell’s A&D Account Executive, Vera Hawkins’ 22 years of experience in interiors and design is an asset to the design community. Having utilized multiple facets of professional skills in areas such as residential and commercial interiors, sales, furnishings and fashion, Vera has held executive sales and business development roles for brands such as Cliff Young Ltd and ABC Carpet and Home. Vera holds an English Literature Degree and an AA in Art History.

Mary Duquette brings over 15 years of experience to the Director of Business Development role. With a background in modular construction, millwork, architectural and furniture business development, Mary brings forth substantial skills in vertical markets such as corporate, education, real estate, and healthcare. Mary holds a Business Administration Degree from Georgian Court University, and is a longstanding member of the Healthcare Facilities Management Society of New Jersey.
