IIDA NY to Host Cassi Chandler at Annual Leaders Breakfast®
Motivational Leadership Expert To Address Design Community in Keynote Speech
The International Interior Design Association’s New York Chapter (IIDA NY) is proud to host Cassi Chandler at their annual Leaders Breakfast® at Pier Sixty, Chelsea Piers on Thursday, May 9 from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. The Leaders Breakfast® will celebrate design excellence and recent achievements for the chapter, offering an opportunity for participants from across the New York Chapter, including students and young professionals, to network with peers and commemorate the vibrant design community of New York state.
The event’s keynote speaker, Cassi Chandler, is an innovator, strategist, investigator, and leader who has broken barriers, led diverse teams, and built cultures of motivational leadership and inclusivity at some of the world’s most important organizations, including the Bank of America and the FBI. Chandler served as the FBI’s first African American female special agent assistant director and the Bureau’s first female national spokesperson and public and community affairs director. Currently, she is the founder, president, and CEO of VigeoAlliance, a leadership and talent risk management partner helping organizations elevate their cultures of belonging.
IIDA NY’s Leaders Breakfast® is an annual series dedicated to celebrating the importance of design and recognizing individuals whose excellence has made a profound impact on the industry, environment, and community as a whole. The event features a renowned keynote speaker who enlightens, provokes, and encourages new ideas.

Leaders Breakfast® is hosted by eight local IIDA chapters with the support of IIDA Headquarters, international benefactor MillerKnoll, and media partner Interior Design magazine.
