New Sit-to-Stand Mobile Desk from AIS Takes Work on the Move and to New Heights

Today, AIS announces the new Mixers Collection™ Sit-to-Stand Mobile Desk supporting a variety of worker movements with ease and comfort for better ergonomic health and optimal work transitions throughout the day.
Designed for the fluid workplace, this personal, mobile desk supports posture shifts while allowing users to move throughout their work environment without missing a beat. Its height adjustable base allows seated work, easy perching, or standing height activities with a simple pneumatic lever.
With smooth rolling casters and a lightweight, yet durable, structure, the Sit-to-Stand Mobile Desk is easy to move, encouraging collaboration and transitions for better workplace productivity. The ergonomic design includes a stable base featuring ample foot space, a tilt lever with six preset positions offering up to 30 degrees of tilt to best fit the task at hand, and convenient height adjustability.
The ingenious design and streamlined dimensions tackle the workplace challenge of space limitations and increases access to flat surfaces for full time, part time, and hybrid workers. The Sit-to-Stand Desk can be used throughout a facility – and even placed in between workstations, offering extra worksurface along with accommodating collaboration. When moved to a quiet location for focused work, it gives users the flexibility to control their workspace and minimize interruptions.

Thoughtfully designed with a generously sized work surface, the desk supports a range of users’ daily work needs and an edge stopper keeps papers, writing implements, and laptops in place when the desktop is tilted. The base allows for easy movement and gives ample space for users to move around the desk while a bag hook keeps personal items off the floor. A pneumatic height paddle adjustment raises and lowers the worksurface with a height range of 30” – 43” encouraging sitting, perching or standing. Locking front casters ensure stability during use.

Simple and versatile, the Sit-to-Stand Mobile Desk comes with a matte white laminate worksurface with satin edge banding, a white base, and white and grey two-tone casters. The desk is the first product in AIS’ new Mixers Collection™, an assortment of work tools to be officially launched in June at NeoCon. The collection will offer product options to mix into the office environment, enhancing the workflow by providing convenient work tools.
