Kimball Helio Captures #Metropolislikes Award

Kimball announced on May 16 that its Helio task chair captured a #Metropolislikes Award during NYCxDESIGN. #Metropolislikes is Metropolis Magazine’s biannual award program that takes place in New York City during NYCxDESIGN and Chicago during NeoCon. NYCxDESIGN is New York City’s official celebration of design that takes place throughout the city until May 22, 2019. Metropolis editors selected their favorite products from the citywide design fest as part of its #Metropolislikes award program. The winning Helio chair is on view during NYCxDESIGN at the company’s flagship New York City showroom located on Park Avenue.

“We are thrilled that the editors of Metropolis recognized our Helio chair with the highly acclaimed #Metropolislikes Award,” said Wendy Murray, Director of Brand Marketing at Kimball. “NYCxDESIGN has become an important platform for our industry, and we are honored to be chosen as one of the best products among this creative community.”

Helio provides freedom of movement with adjustable comfort that is seamlessly integrated to eliminate visual disruption. The back is constructed with durable, cross-woven nylon that provides ergonomic lumbar support while maintaining its crisp, clean lines. Refined options such as contrast seat stitching and premium casters with polished accents further elevate the sophistication offered within a light-scale design.
