IIDA NY Happenings in April

The International Design Association’s New York Chapter (IIDA NY) is hosting some exciting opportunities for mentoring, networking, and a private tour this month:

NEW YORK CITY CENTER: Mentoring Roundtable – Unfiltered Advice for Young Design Professionals

What: Do you have questions about your career that you would like to ask in your current workplace but don’t know where to get answers? The IIDA NY Mentorship Program invites you to a roundtable discussion for young design professionals within 1-3 years of experience that have questions about what’s next in their career.

ROCHESTER CITY CENTER: Historic Preservation: Frank Lloyd Wright’s Boynton House

What: Participate in a fascinating discussion of the 2012 rehabilitation of Frank Lloyd Wright’s Boynton House in downtown Rochester. Located, on East Boulevard in the heart of the Historic District, the Boynton House is one of the few original Wright homes in still function as a private residence. Representatives from the lead restoration firm Bero Architecture, project interior designer Daryl Gronsky, Director of the Landmark Society Wayne Goodman, Jim Liebel of Fingerlakes Woodworks, and Boynton House owner Jane Parker will be in attendance to discuss the rejuvenation of this local architectural gem.
