IIDA Announces Winners of the 2022 IIDA Showroom & Booth Competition at NeoCon
IIDA is honored to announce the winners of the 2022 IIDA Showroom & Booth Design Competition for their originality of design, visual impact, and effective use of materials. Criteria for the annual competition is based on the outstanding use of space, color, texture, lighting, and graphics in showrooms and booths at NeoCon.
“This year’s winners exemplified the best in both originality and practicality, offering innovation and a fresh approach,” said IIDA Executive Vice President and CEO, Cheryl S. Durst, Hon. FIIDA. “Creating visually stimulating, stand-out designs that are functional in their respective spaces takes true talent.”
The jury panel reviewing this year’s competition included: HDR Senior Interior Designer, Laura Franzluebbers, IIDA; Michael Halebian & Co. Commercial Specifications Representative, Katelynn Gassert, Ind. IIDA; OTJ Architects Senior Project Designer, Robina Shepherd, Assoc. IIDA; and Hiti, DiFrancesco + Siebold, Inc. Interior Designer, Bethany Williams.
“This competition challenges designers and manufacturers to create displays that are not only visually stunning, but also have a lasting impact on visitors,” said Laura Franzluebbers, IIDA on behalf of the jury. “This year’s winners excelled in their use of detail, functionality, and use of color.”
