Henricksen Promotes Beth Ralston to VP of Biz Dev

Beth will lead the business development efforts in Henricksen’s largest market.

Beth Ralston, former Architectural Products Manager for Henricksen, was promoted to Vice President of Business Development in Illinois. This position is part of the strategic alignment of Henricksen’s regional Business Development and Sales leadership structure.

Since joining Henricksen in 2020, Beth oversaw the impressive growth of Henricksen’s Architectural Solutions practice in the Midwest. Widely respected for her ability to strategize, engage, and execute complex initiatives, Beth looks to foster more dynamic and strategic exchanges of ideas and resources between Henricksen’s business development and project teams.

In addition to her new leadership role, Beth will continue to serve as an Executive Sponsor for Henricksen’s Architectural Solutions group and an expert resource for special projects.

Beth’s promotion is a continuation of Henricksen’s investments in people and innovation. “Beth Ralston proved herself to be a talented tactician focused on operational excellence while leading Henricksen’s Architectural Solutions group,” said Ryan Esche, Principal and Vice President of Sales. “Trained as an architect and project manager, Beth possesses an incredibly thoughtful, pragmatic, disciplined, and innovative leadership style that will enhance how Henricksen operates in the marketplace,” he continued.

Prior to joining Henricksen, Beth was a Senior Project Manager at CBRE where she managed several global corporate headquarters projects including McDonald’s, Mars Wrigley, and Motorola Solutions. In recognition of her outstanding communication skills, attention to detail, goal-oriented mentality, and commitment to mitigating risks and accelerating client savings, Beth was the recipient of the prestigious CBRE Global PJM Star Awards 2019 (1 of 20 chosen globally). Prior to CBRE, Beth began her career as an architect at FGM Architects specializing in K12 and higher education environments.

Beth serves on the Board of CoreNet Chicago chairing the Community Reinvestment Committee and supports various charitable organizations, including Professional Women in Construction (PWC), Glass Slipper, and leads a team annually with Habitat for Humanity’s Women Build.

Beth’s passion for building things began in her youth. Her father owned a community hardware store where she worked and learned the fundamentals of construction. Later, she went on to study architecture at the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana and received a BS in Architectural Studies. She lives in Chicago with her husband, Dan, and their dog, Champ.
