J+J Flooring’s Director of Product Innovation, Keith Gray, will deliver an important and timely research-based presentation, “The Human-Centered Properties of Flooring.” Gray’s presentation reveals findings used to develop a series of technical papers regarding the implications of flooring in healthcare facilities. Citing technical studies and a diverse body of peer-reviewed literature, Gray will point out recent data on how flooring affects acoustics, mobility, slip/fall injuries, anti-fatigue performance and the spread of disease. The presentation will assist architects, designers and facility planners in making well-informed flooring decisions based on human-centered metrics.
Attendees will receive one EDAC/AIA credit. The events are designed to unite the regional healthcare design community in intimate settings to provide professional connectivity and continuing education.
All CHD professional networking events are free for CHD Affiliate members, Thought Leaders and Thought Leader guests. Reservations can made online at the RSVP page.
