“Health Design Insights and Networking” Event in NYC Sep. 16

The Center for Health Design (CHD) proudly presents an evening of education, networking and insight with its “Health Design Insights and Networking” event.  Come meet and connect with CHD Affiliate members and the regional healthcare design community as the CHD presents an informal, energetic presentation featuring the “Innovations in Healthcare Design.”

Event begins at 5:00pm followed by cocktails and hors d’oeuvres

J+J Flooring’s Director of Product Innovation, Keith Gray, will deliver an important and timely research-based presentation,The Human-Centered Properties of Flooring.”  Gray’s presentation reveals findings used to develop a series of technical papers regarding the implications of flooring in healthcare facilities.  Citing technical studies and a diverse body of peer-reviewed literature, Gray will point out recent data on how flooring affects acoustics, mobility, slip/fall injuries, anti-fatigue performance and the spread of disease. The presentation will assist architects, designers and facility planners in making well-informed flooring decisions based on human-centered metrics.

Attendees will receive one EDAC/AIA credit. The events are designed to unite the regional healthcare design community in intimate settings to provide professional connectivity and continuing education.
