Gunlocke’s new Avoca™ swivel/guest chair effortlessly blends into any workspace, from executive offices and boardrooms to huddle and touchdown spaces.
In creating Avoca for Gunlocke, designer Kevin Stark wanted to offer a wide range of design options that allows users to create seating that works for them and their space — aesthetically, comfortably and functionally.
“Avoca assimilates easily in many environments,” Stark says. “It’s equally at home in formal spaces as it is in more relaxed, casual ones, complementing the architecture and casegoods in any setting. Its timeless design will look as relevant in 10 years as it does today.”
The chair, available in executive, conference and guest chair models, offers numerous options that allow users to personalize the seating line to suit both their needs and those of their workplace. These options include:
- Back heights – mid or high
- Arms – full urethane, aluminum with urethane insert or full polished aluminum
- Casters – glide, black, polished
- Bases – black plastic or polished aluminum
- Controls – low profile or full-featured synchro tilt
- Choice of all Gunlocke fabrics, with optional channel stitching
Additionally, the side chair with a four-star base includes a return-to-center feature, a first in the Gunlocke portfolio.
Avoca also provides all-day comfort. A soft layer of foam in the seatback combines with molded foam in the shell to deliver a uniquely soft, yet supportive, experience.
