GNU Group, a leader in wayfinding solutions, environmental branding and architectural signage, has announced the appointment of Kevin Wilhelm as the firm’s new Managing Principal.
Wilhelm most recently completed a 15-year tenure with a full-service advertising agency in an evolving role as Director of Creative Operations, EVP of Operations and Chief Operating Officer. He discovered early on an aptitude for managing people and effortlessly made the transition from creative projects to creative teams.
In his position at GNU Group, Wilhelm will manage the company’s leadership team, overseeing day-to-day operations and identifying optimal markets for business development. He will be responsible for the firm’s professional, financial, administrative and client service performance.
“I’m humbled to be a part of such a creative and dynamic team with deep roots and industry-proven thought leadership,” said Wilhelm. “The values ingrained in the firm are what drive longevity and success. GNU Group has been able to solidify a strong leadership team, and I look forward to what we’ll achieve together.”
As GNU Group approaches its 50th anniversary, it is celebrating an exemplary commitment to clients founded on thought leadership, creative design solutions and a pain-free program management experience. Financial transparency, prescribed processes, honest communications and personal responsibility are integral elements of that commitment.
