Fogarty Finger, NYC-based firm behind ‘The Dime’ expands to Atlanta + Boston

Fogarty Finger, a leading architecture and interior design firm headquartered in New York City, today announced its expansion into two new US markets—Atlanta and Boston with projects underway in both.

With an award-winning portfolio of commercial and residential projects, Fogarty Finger is dedicated to placemaking within the urban built environment.

Studio leads Candace Rimes and Tin Min Fong head the regional business development efforts in Atlanta and Boston, respectively.

“Atlanta is an exciting emerging market for us, and we’ve been laying the foundation there for some time now,” said Rimes. “There is a strong need for the level of work we provide in this region, and we look forward to contributing positively to the city’s built urban landscape with both new and current partners.”

The firm is already at work on a project at 1020 Spring Street in Atlanta’s Midtown neighborhood with Portman Residential. The ground-up mixed-use building, for which Fogarty Finger is providing interior architecture and FF&E services for the residential amenities and apartments, is slated for completion by early 2023.

Additionally, the firm has two projects currently in progress in Boston. Fogarty Finger has been engaged to assist with building repositioning projects at two properties in the city’s Financial District. The first project at One Federal Street owned by Tishman Speyer is slated for completion in June 2021, and the second project at 225 Franklin Street with Oxford Properties Group is scheduled to complete in late August 2021.

“Strategically, we felt a move into Boston made sense as one of the most mature markets on the east coast,” said Fong. “With key projects in development in the city’s central business district we are confident that we will deliver valued perspective and creativity to the city’s development sector.”
