FK Architecture’s Architect Kelly Dawson Appointed as AIA Orlando Director At Large for the 2022 Term
FK Architecture, a Fugleberg Koch Company, is pleased to announce that Kelly Dawson has been appointed as Director at Large for AIA Orlando. Dawson will serve on an industry board for a one-year term, assisting the chapter board with strategic planning, member development, continuing education, and helping the organization empower architects to improve society and their profession. Dawson brings 20 years of experience in architecture and design surrounding historic renovation, hospitality, multi-family, health care, corporate, and education projects.

I wouldn’t be in this position if it were not for them and FK Architecture, who has supported me along the way. I cannot wait to use my skillset and knowledge to help give back.”
Dawson is an accomplished, goal-oriented professional specializing in project management, architectural design, and implementation. She has worked in several states and boasts an array of transferable skills such as strategic planning, client relations, problem-solving, project oversight, accounting, and sales. She received her Bachelors of Architecture from Kansas State University, where she made the Dean’s list every semester. Throughout her 20-year career, her focus on safety, practicality, and design helped her stand out amongst her peers in Florida, Missouri, and Iowa. Her determination and intelligence helped her rise from a Staff Architect to a Project Manager. Never one to rest on her laurels, Dawson made it a focal point of her career to always be up-to-date with the latest technology and trends to keep her firm at the forefront of the industry.
