David Mourning, FIIDA AIA, IA CEO and Founder, Receives Leadership Award of Excellence from IIDA’s Northern California Chapter
IA Interior Architects is pleased to announce that David Mourning, FIIDA AIA, CEO and Founder of the firm, has received the Leadership Award of Excellence from IIDA’s Northern California Chapter. The award, given to recognize an IIDA Professional Member for exemplary leadership within the profession of interior design, was presented at the annual IIDA Northern California Chapter Leader’s Breakfast.
The award honors David Mourning’s tremendous career, contributions to IIDA, and service to the industry. Previous winners include Stanford Hughes, Laura Guido-Clark, and M. Arthur Gensler. David founded IA in 1984, and his expertise in design, management, and marketing has directed the firm’s rapid growth to 19 offices in the US, Toronto, and London, as well as the IA Global Alliance, with partner affiliates in Europe, Middle East and Africa, Asia and Australia, and Latin America.
