COVID-19 has changed the work-at-home dynamic, and even the most experienced remote worker faces the challenge of sharing space with roommates and family members (including young children) who may also be working and learning at home.
Dauphin’s AIA and IDCEC accredited CEU, “Addressing Workplace Distractions in the Open Office” outlines the types of distractions encountered in the open plan office and what can be done to minimize their effect. The five most common types of distractions in the workplace – clutter, technology, interruption, privacy and noise -also apply to working from home. The tips provided in the CEU can easily be incorporated in your at-home work routine.
