COAST TO COAST: WallGoldfinger Expands Representation to California

2015.0914.Re-S.David RivettiWallGoldfinger, a maker of high-end corporate furniture, has expanded its sales force to the West Coast through the addition of independent manufacturers’ representative David Rivetti of California.

Distributed nationally, WallGoldfinger’s boardroom tables, credenzas and more are represented by a sales team at the company’s Vermont factory as well as in New York; Washington, D.C.; throughout the Midwest in Ohio, Chicago, Kentucky, Michigan and Indiana; and in the Southeast in South and North Carolina.

Through the addition of Rivetti, WallGoldfinger not only expands its representative footprint to the West Coast but gains incredible experience and brand recognition.

A native of Western Pennsylvania, Rivetti learned architectural woodworking and furniture design at the former Coffey School of Fine Woodworking in East Poultney, Vt., and went on to work at WallGoldfinger, then named Union Woodworkers.

His woodworking career quickly burgeoned. He moved to New York City, opened his own woodworking company building high-end cabinetry for several years before transitioning to the contract furniture market. He held corporate sales and marketing management positions in New York City; acquired Knoll International distribution rights in Pittsburgh, Pa., building a large business; and then moved to California where he was a managing director in San Francisco for the largest Steelcase dealer on the West Coast.

Nearly two decades in facilities and construction management, construction industry business development, and high end construction supplies representation has followed.

In July Rivetti launched his own representative company, David Rivetti Manufacturers Representative, in Los Gatos in the San Francisco Bay Area where he represents a pair of high-end residential suppliers, Riviera Bronze and Renaissance Woodworks, as well as representing the high-end contract furniture company that gave him his start – WallGoldfinger.

“WallGoldfinger is the best of the best when it comes to creating corporate furniture. For the distinguished thinkers and leaders of the San Francisco Bay and Silicon Valley areas, WallGoldfinger’s furniture with its integrated technology will be commanding a presence in this niché market,” said Rivetti, who has “come home” to WallGoldfinger.

“We’re excited to be increasing our presence on the West Coast and to have Dave back on the WallGoldfinger team,” said John Wall, WallGoldfinger owner and chief executive officer. “He brings decades of industry experience and a true understanding of the integrity and craftsmanship that goes into each piece of furniture that we create.”
