Extended lifespan. Strengthened by integrated antimicrobial protection, our products retain their beauty and functionality for many years, reducing energy- and cost-intensive replacement—and the associated waste.
Free of phthalates. Our Contract textiles are woven in the U.S. from TerraStrand: extruded yarns that are made soft and flexible by a compound derived from soybeans rather than petroleum, representing a 40% reduction in greenhouse gases compared to conventional plasticizers. Free of phthalates, our yarns contain a minimum of 18% renewable vegetable content.
Green cleaning. Keeping all things Chilewich in peak condition is easy on people and the planet. With surfaces that wipe clean, our products can be washed with water and biodegradable detergents.
Environmentally safe. Our textiles are tested and certified by the Green Label Plus and GreenGuard programs for low VOC emissions, and they can be found in healthcare settings that include major hospitals.
