ASID-IL Hosts 2015 Celebration of Design Gala at The Ivy Room, Tree Studios
12th annual Interior Design Excellence Award winners to be announced at the COD Gala in The Ivy Room at The Tree Studios, Chicago

The American Society of Interior Designers – Illinois Chapter (ASID-IL) is pleased to host the 2015 Celebration of Design Gala on Friday, Sept. 18, at The Ivy Room, an 80-year-old historic Chicago venue recognized by the World Monuments Fund. As workshops to many of Chicago’s most recognizable artists in the past century, the Tree Studios serves as the ideal location to honor local talent with renovated spaces for artists, art businesses and extravagant retail shops. The Tree Studios were built in stages between 1894 and 1913 by Judge Lambert Tree, one of Chicago’s greatest art patrons.
For its 12th year, the Celebration of Design Gala will award ASID IL members, IIDA Members, and registered interior designers in the state of Illinois who have excelled in their fields. Awards for the Interior Design Excellence Award Competition will be presented in the categories of Contract, Residential, Historic Restoration and Product Design. New categories to the competition include the “Rising Star Award” and “Designer of Distinction Award.” Additionally, ASID IL will recognize one member who has demonstrated outstanding industry support and community service with the “ASID IL Gives Back Recognition.”
The event program will celebrate ASID’s 40th Anniversary and underscore the many ways in which design matters by showcasing myriad environments that have influenced beauty and function in the residential and commercial sector this past year. The program will also include a cocktail reception, dinner and awards ceremony with a special presentation from ASID CEO, Randy Fiser. Early-bird tickets are $150.00 each until Aug. 18; individual tickets are on sale for $175 between Aug. 19 and Sept. 17 and will be $200 at the door.
