Announcing IFI GAP 2022 Global Design Competition Finalists

IFI AT THE APEX: Shortlist Announced for IFI DDA – Design Distinction Awards World Design Competition

The results are in! This year’s IFI DDA global design competition saw a record number of exemplary entries and represented countries from across the world. These exceptional spaces are shaping today’s human experience.

A total of 156 projects were shortlisted across 10 categories by 12 preeminent jurors spanning five continents. From these, one Gold winner, two Silver winners and five Bronze winners will each be crowned in the Commerce, Habitat, Health, Humanitarian, Learning, Play, Stay, Student, Sustainability and Work categories.

The shortlisted IFI DDA 2022 project types ranged from a sustainable, community-centered school catering to 400 girls under the poverty line in Rajasthan, India; the modernization of Parisian barracks as a means of regenerating the city; and a private wine cave excavated into limestone along a secluded river bend in the USA to a series of contemporary villas overlooking the Great Wall of China and two exciting and innovative bookstore integrating cultural aspects into the shopping experience.
