AIS Welcomes Michael MacLean as New Director of Design

AIS, a leading manufacturer of commercial office furniture and seating, announces the hiring of Michael MacLean as director of design. MacLean, who joined AIS in December, will lead all design efforts for AIS and will report to Nick Haritos, AIS’s executive vice president of sales and distribution.

With nearly 25 years of experience working with multiple manufacturers at the dealer level, MacLean brings to AIS a broad‐based skill set in the design arena. In his previous positions, he led all activities executed by the design department, from sales through installation including integrating and maintaining technology into the design process.

MacLean is a graduate of Wentworth Institute of Technology, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial design. He is also a member of the Industrial Designers Society of America (ISDA).
