A sustainable luxe lounge chair by Arper
Conceived by French architect and designer Jean-Marie Massaud, Aston Club is an elegant and timeless lounging seating design. Not only the chair naturally suggests comfort and sophistication, but it also significantly take sustainability into consideration during the production process — the internal parts are made using post-industrial recycled plastic that can be easily disassembled and upcycled to reduce overall waste; it is also produced sans glue and finished using a powder-based coat to eliminate VOC emission and encouraging responsible disposal. Aston Club can be upholstered with a myriad of fabric options and comes with an optional matching footrest to fit into a range of contract environments.
The Aston collection is Massaud’s long-term collaboration project with Arper. Originally conceived in 2006 with 14 models developed throughout the years, the seating series is a perfect statement of the synergy and commemoratory between the brand and the designer.
