Spring 2022 Textiles

This year’s spring textiles are vibrant and versatile, offering specifiers solutions that blend performance and style. Nature continues to serve as the prime inspiration for designers, with interpretations that are painterly, rather than precise. Every color of the spectrum is represented, from warm neutrals to brilliant brights. Here’s a look at some of our favorite fabrics of the season.

>Arc-Com

The Arc-Com Design Studio introduces Flora, a new performance vinyl. Featuring graceful linework coupled with a fine emboss, a botanical motif sits atop a refined linen print in the ground. Reminiscent of petals and leaves, the design is evocative rather than literal. The 15-color palette includes a wide range of soft blues and greens, along with a host of warm and cool ranges of taupe and gray. A phthalate-free material, Flora is bleach cleanable and compatible with a variety of commercial-grade cleaners. arc-com.com

The Elemental Collection from Concertex features nine high-performance upholsteries that are inspired by the five enduring elements of nature: water, wind, earth, fire, and sky. Each fabric in the new collection is as serene as the vast expanse that surrounds us, inviting specifiers to bring that same sense of calm to hospitality and healthcare settings. From light metallic etchings that cast a starry shimmer to undulating curves that echo ocean waves, sophisticated organic designs are paired with performance features. concertex.com

Stitch features an embroidery-inspired design that transforms high-traffic environments into surprisingly fresh spaces. Wrap captures the essence of artistic expression, with smooth, flowing lines that mimic brushstrokes and animated color.
