The Open House Heads Outdoors // Open House Chicago Reinvents for 2020
As fall sets in, many of the places we live are starting to show signs of the seasons changing…more than a few leaves dotting the sidewalks, a chillier air when stepping outside in the morning, and a sunrise and sundown that indeed feels more autumnal. For the past month, I’ve been trying to prepare myself a bit for the idea that once again our families will need to retreat back to the interior of our homes. With vaccine predictions changing every day, it’s unclear when and how we’ll be moving forward through fall and winter of 2020 and into the first half of 2021. In light of that preparation, I’ve been wildly scrambling around trying to visit with friends and family outdoors and treat myself to a few outdoor patios while the weather is still cooperating.
