Drawing inspiration from the latest fashion trend in apparel knits and elegant sportswear, Wolf-Gordon Design Studio brings runway chic to the office with its new high-performing contract upholstery textiles, tested to 100,000 double rubs (Wynzenbeek). Recognizing the evolving need for greater comfort, flexibility and functionality in the workspace environment, WG designers created two new textiles, Judo and Relay, appropriately named due to their ability to wrap around the most challenging of forms, ultimately celebrating freedom of movement.
The exquisitely silky nylon blend textile used for Judo offers a classic honeycomb pattern along with dimensional texture, both qualities apparent as light washes the fabric surface. Taking advantage of Elastane, (also known as Spandex or Lycra), this textile prioritizes elasticity and durability without compromising elegance and professionalism in its Jet Black colorway.
Alternatively, Relay’s 100% polyester spacer knit fabric accentuates tremendous texture, both visually and to the touch. Available in 13 neutral and sporty bright colorways with Greenshield finish, this product fits the needs of meeting, task and social seating with ease.
Wolf-Gordon introduced its Woven Upholstery 01 book in 2014.
