Tangram, a curator of highly creative commercial interior environments and workspaces, has received the 2018 IMPACT Award for Best Use of Video (Informational) from the Internet Marketing Association (IMA). The recognition was presented at the IMA’s Digital Marketing Recoded by IMPACT18 conference in Las Vegas.

The winning entry in the category from Tangram was a video on the firm’s innovative and highly successful work with a leading biotech research company for its new nine-floor, 195,000-sq.-ft. headquarters in Seattle. Goals for the project were to maximize motivation, flexibility and productivity while reinforcing the company’s brand, culture and architectural aesthetic as well as the health and wellness of its employees.

Tangram collaborated in a co-design process with Flad Architects and the company’s senior management throughout the project to deliver a unique work environment blending custom furniture and technology integration. The project encompassed 657 workstations, 8 vice president stations, 5 private offices, 28 A/V-configured conference rooms, 50 conference tables and credenzas, 22 kanban meeting tables, and additional storage.

In addition to use as a standalone video, it also became the source for an in-depth case history of the project. These elements were then combined into a showcase on the Tangram website with the video, case history, photography and renderings. The showcase can be seen at http://tangramstudio.com/juno/.

“Tangram is making very significant contributions to the transformation of today’s workplace,” said IMA CEO Sinan Kanatsiz. “This award-winning video provides an inside look at one of their most significant projects for a client of international scope in a highly engaging and informative presentation.”

In addition to its core furniture offering, Tangram operates five business units for a comprehensive approach to workplace design and installation that encompasses custom furniture, technology, flooring, walls, lighting, noise cancellation, furniture and facility revitalization, and move management.
