Pavilion Furniture Announces Jay Chapman as President
Pavilion Furniture announces the appointment of Jay Chapman as President, tapped to lead the brand into its next chapter as a premier resource for contemporary, marine grade outdoor furnishings. Shaped by his many years in the contract furniture industry, Jay brings an eye for quality, creative mindset, and collaborative spirit to his new leadership role at Pavilion. With both an education and a career devoted to furniture, Jay understands high caliber design and the many considerations that go into the development, engineering, and production of furnishings suitable for even the most demanding commercial and residential environments.
“Now more than ever, clients desire well-crafted, contemporary outdoor furnishings from dependable American resources,” observes Jay. “With its incredible team and ambitious plans, Pavilion is one of a handful of US companies that is poised to fulfill that need on a national level. I’m excited to help transform Pavilion into the ‘brand of choice’ for discerning specifiers and purchasers.”
In his most recent role as Vice President of Product Development at Studio TK, a Teknion Company, Jay helped position that nascent furniture brand through an award-winning roster of introductions. Prior to his six years at Studio TK, Jay led the product development team for Geiger, the prominent case goods and furnishings company owned by Herman Miller.
