Salone del Mobile.Milano

From EuroCucina emphasizing technology through the FTK exhibit to Internazionale del BagnoSaloneSatellite and Living Nature, it’s sure to be one of the most exciting Salone shows yet! The International Bathroom Exhibition (Internazionale del Bagno) will see 228 exhibitors in Pavilions 22-24 this year, showcasing the best of international manufacturing – from furniture and accessories to shower cubicles and saunas. EuroCucina will bring together 111 exhibitors in Pavilions 9-11 & 13-15, and will be accompanied by FTK  (Technology for the Kitchen) with 47 exhibitors.

Living Nature. La Natura dell’Abitare

Created to inspire sustainable design throughout our lives + homes, this Milan-based technological project was developed by the inventive and award-winning Carlo Ratti. Living Nature will contain 4 climactic microcosms that enable every season to unfold at the same time, one next to the other.

SaloneSatellite

650 young designers will be exhibiting over 30,000 sq. feet in Pavilions 13-15 at Fiera Milano in Rho. This year’s theme is “Africa / Latin America: Rising Design, Design Emergente” putting the spotlight on the Southern Hemisphere to two huge melting pots of creativity and design.

Duravit

With a roster of new releases for 2018, the bathroom brand will exhibit at Salone del Mobile in Hall 22 – Stand E23 & E27.

Duravit also invites you for cocktails + light bites at their newly renovated showroom in Via San Gregorio during Salone del Mobile. True to the motto of “your future bathroom”, Duravit will have their 2018 news on display featuring custom designs, integrated technology for enhanced comfort & hygiene, and lasting, design-centric quality.

The Adam Mickiewicz Institute

Back to Front is an exhibition about exhibitions. Through photographs, sketches and architectural models, Back to Front showcases the history of Polish exhibition design and presents it as a uniquely important design field. At the same time, it examines the current role of exhibition design in communicating ideas, telling stories and creating or challenging illusions. Join us to explore this unique showcase at the grand opening party on April 17, where you’ll have the opportunity to meet the Polish Consul General, the Director of the Polish Institute in Rome, and the Deputy Director of the Adam Mickiewicz Institute, along with the curator and the creative team behind the exhibit.

Stickbulb

If you’re at the venerable Rossana Orlandi showroom, keep your eyes peeled for the latest LED creation from Stickbulb. A custom version of their versatile new Bough pendant – designed by RUX and named after the main branch of a tree – will debut on April 16. You can also see their popular Floor Bang fixture illuminating the new Novità Italia office!

NJ Interiors

NJ Interiors is debuting at Milano Design Week with an exhibition entitled Archetipi. Door handles, knobs and wallpaper – all 100% made in Italy – come together in an evocative multicultural fusion of archetypal shapes and ancient civilizations. Refined gold-leaf finish, warm, original colors, and motifs inspired by Berber and central American life characterize the precise and innovative designs of this new, creative Florentine studio.

E Ink

E Ink’s revolutionary ePaper technology can be found in Size M Design Studio’s “I Love Closet,” an transformable children’s closet on display at SuperStudio. Designed by Marco Guariglia, this innovative closet allows kids to create the atmosphere they want. E Ink’s ePaper is incorporated into the furniture’s surface, allowing parents to control the closet’s pattern from an App and acting as a gentle way to introduce technology to kids.

Grynasz Studio

This month in Milan, Grynasz Studio will showcase several universal collections that embody comfort and ease in an exhibit of cool, natural beauty for the home and the workplace. For furniture, we see a focus on minimalism in combinations with sleek details, as well as a timeless quality in the soft pouf beds, couches and chairs that promise relaxation. In the kitchen, gorgeous porcelain coffee brewers and tableware are made for special moments and convenient, easy storage. The aim is simplicity and efficiency, following in Polish tradition.

Preciosa

Breath of Light is a dynamic, playful lighting installation revealing the contemporary side of Preciosa. The installation will inject new life into lighting concepts, inviting visitors to interact with this eye-catching exhibition.

NoLo Creative Network

NoLo refers to the area North of Loreto, between Trotter Park and the Naviglio Martesana. The upcoming district is ready to welcome visitors with a remarkable program of events for Milan Design Week. Ventura Centrale and Eindhoven Design Academy are just 2 of the can’t miss exhibitors showcasing in NoLo.
