Mr & Mrs Seating Collection Makes its Debut in the U.S.

Wing chairs from the Mr & Mrs collection

A new and sublime handcrafted soft seating collection is making its debut in the US. Already wooing designers across Europe, the Mr & Mrs collection is to be manufactured in the US and will exude the superior manufacturing quality and design for which the British brand is renowned.

Mr & Mrs pays homage to the stately grandeur of the classic wing chair whilst incorporating contemporary touches. Oozing luxury and comfort, the collection is ideal for today’s hospitality and boutique hotel environment, and even the corporate arena

The collection boasts two well-appointed wing chairs and a low-back sofa. Whilst the high backed Mr wing chair offers a masculine feel with full under frame, complete with full seat and wooden buttons, the low-backed Mrs wing chair offers loose cushions, border, fabric buttons and leg detail. Meanwhile, the Mrs sofa is designed to make a deliberate soft, contemporary statement; drawing the sitter into indulgence and contentment. Designed to sit amiably alongside other furnishings, each piece may also be used as standalone to make a bold design statement.

Boss Design’s expertise in handcrafted upholstery is evident in the design of this collection; the end-result being a technical and aesthetic triumph. Whilst Mr features a solid wood under frame with profiled cushions, Mrs boasts a solid wood leg. To satisfy the needs of a variety of settings and interior décor, Mr & Mrs can be specified in a wide range of contrasting fabrics, colors and woods; including oak, walnut and beech.

Commenting on the launch of this exciting collection, Jeff Thompson, President of Boss Design North America says: “Mr & Mrs has been a resounding success across Europe and we are confident that interior designers here in the US will also be charmed by its fireside allure and British craftsmanship.”

Jeff adds: “Thanks to the flexibility of this collection that allows the detail from each chair to be transferred to each other, and the wide range of fabrics and wood options available, designers and specifiers can now bring fresh inspiration to their projects.”
