Morbern Intros Denim-dye Resistant Vinyl with Buttery Soft Hand
The average American owns seven pairs of jeans, and thanks to the acceptance of denim as appropriate wear from breakfast meetings to boardrooms and Broadway shows, they are wearing them in every office, hotel and restaurant across the country. While the comfort of denim makes for happy customers and employees, it poses a challenge for facility designers and cleaning staff, leading Morbern to introduce Allante Touch, a denim-dye resistant vinyl with a luxury hand.
“In today’s American wardrobe, denim is the clothing of choice, but typical seating surfaces like leather can’t stand up to its dye,” said Morbern Vice President of Marketing Doug McClendon. “Allante Touch provides the look and feel of leather in 21 colorways, but with the added advantage of a cleanable top coat.”
Allante Touch offers the aesthetic of leather but not the worry. The buttery-soft, cleanable vinyl stands up to traffic, stains, mildew, sun and denim. It emulates the look and feel of soft leather with a unique, super dull finish designed to be low burnishing, non-polishing and resistant to ultra violet exposure. Allante Touch has superb tailoring qualities, which make pre-heating and steaming unnecessary and not recommended in the fabrication process.
Cleaning: Any dirt can be washed with a soft cloth moistened with a mild soap and water. Stubborn spots and stains can be treated with Formula 409 or Tannery Car Care Cleaner and rinsed with clean water.
