Nanina’s in the Park was a sold-out venue for the 3rd Annual Adopt-a-Soldier Platoon’s Salute to American Heroes benefit dinner in New Jersey. The event was hosted by emcee Captain John “Woody” Woodall and keynote speaker Colonel Fredrick C. “Doom” Dummar of the U.S. Army. Lane Office CEO Gregory F. Burke <https://twitter.com/gregoryfburke> of Garden City, NY hosted a front row table, as he was awarded with a Generous Benefactor recognition for the second year in a row by AaSP’s founder Alan Krutchkoff. The event is expected to raise well over $100,000 towards helping wounded soldiers, sailors, marines, and airmen become more independent, have better self-esteem and improve their lives. Other special guests included former Offensive Tackle for the New York Giants 1986 Super Bowl Champions Karl Nelson, former New York Jets Defensive End Marvin Washington, musical artist and army veteran Jeff Barillaro, and renowned Patriotic artist Scott LoBaido.
