Katherine Robinson

Kasian is pleased to announce that Katherine Robinson, Architect AAA, joined Kasian as Principal in our Calgary office effective March 13. In this role, Katherine will provide valuable insight and leadership to Kasian’s commercial and hospitality market sectors. She specializes in high-rise commercial and multi-family residential projects.

Katherine brings close to 20 years of experience and a track record of delivering complex buildings while maintaining architectural integrity and design excellence. Her project management expertise has enabled the delivery of large-scale and unique projects on time and to a high level of client satisfaction. These accomplishments were exemplified in her role as a Principal at Zeidler Partnership Architects, where she led the tenant-improvement team for The Bow, a 1.8-million-square-foot office tower consisting of state-of-the-art office space, conferencing facilities, employee amenities and special function spaces. At the time of its delivery, The Bow was the largest Revit project in North America. Revit offers a multitude of tools and is the software that facilitates 3D Max, Navisworks, Reality Capture and Performance Analysis that help to support various sustainable designs and improve performance analysis.

“I’m thrilled to be joining the talented and accomplished team at Kasian. With our shared passion for design excellence, I look forward to the opportunities for collaboration on the creation of meaningful spaces and places,” says Katherine.

Upon obtaining her Bachelor of Architecture from Carleton University, Katherine joined CORE Architects in Toronto, where she was Project Manager for numerous high-rise residential projects in the GTA. Recently, Katherine was Studio Lead at B+H Architects in Calgary, responsible for the delivery of commercial projects such as the sustainably designed Eau Claire Tower, secure screening facilities at Calgary International Airport, and the new headquarters of MEG Energy.

Kasian President and founder Don Kasian says, “Katherine brings a unique and valuable perspective to her new role in Kasian. We are really excited to have her onboard.”
