Interface Announces Global Appointments for Chief Supply Chain Officer, Chief Innovation Officer

Interface, Inc. (Nasdaq: TILE) on Apr. 18 announced that Nigel Stansfield has been appointed Chief Supply Chain Officer, while Chad Scales has been appointed Chief Innovation Officer.

Stansfield will provide global functional leadership to all aspects of Interface’s supply chain, from raw material purchasing to customer delivery. In addition, he will oversee capital investments globally and drive Interface’s Mission Zero® brand promise within its factories and with the company’s suppliers. Stansfield is based in Interface’s UK offices.

Scales will have overall responsibility for the company’s innovation strategy and platforms globally. In addition, he will identify and drive new sources of revenue and profit from current, new or expanded markets or new/enhanced products.

About Chad Scales
Chad has more than 20 years of experience in the development, management and marketing of consumer packaged goods, as well as in the creation and innovation of major consumer brands. He has won a number of industry product, marketing and packaging awards. He joins Interface from FOCUS Brands, Inc., where he has served as Senior Vice Present and General Manager for the Consumer Packaged Goods division since 2012. Prior to joining FOCUS Brands, Chad was Global Vice President of Marketing and Innovation for The Coca-Cola Company. His experience also includes a number of leadership positions at Unilever, Ogilvy & Mather Advertising and General Mills.

Chad received his MBA from Michigan State University and a B.S. in Finance from Miami University in Ohio. He is based at Interface’s global headquarters in Atlanta.
