As you’re likely well aware, the International Interior design Association of New York (IIDA NY) has been working diligently to ensure the IIDA NY community-at-large stays connected during the pandemic, despite a pause on in-person events. After the success of numerous virtual events, the IIDA NY Buffalo City Center is set to host their first in-person, post-COVID-19 pop-up event for designers in Buffalo, New York.
“The recent global pandemic has caused vendors to utilize virtual CEU’s and product reviews, and while computers strive to represent the colors, textures and patterns of materials and products, the ability to see and feel those products in person is incomparable,” says Carly Owczarczak, Buffalo City Center Event Director.
The pop up event, taking place from September 15th-17th at Buffalo’s Villa Maria College, provides vendors an exciting opportunity to showcase their products and reconnect with designers (while socially distanced and with masks adorned, of course).
“As designers, we are naturally tactile professionals who crave the interaction of like-minded designers, physical product showcases, and new ideas. We are eager to continue the invaluable relationship between vendors and designers, and ultimately spark creativity in a safe, comfortable and engaging environment,” adds Carly.
