IIDA Names Winners of the 11th Annual Best of Asia Pacific Design Awards

IIDA is pleased to announce the winners of the 2023 Best of Asia-Pacific Design Awards. The annual competition seeks to recognize and honor the highest level of creativity and elevate the expectations of excellence in interior design and interior architecture projects across the Asia-Pacific region.

“The Asia-Pacific region is a leader in showcasing some of the most impactful and inspiring projects to the world of design,” said IIDA Executive Vice President and CEO, Cheryl S. Durst, Hon. FIIDA. “We honor these designers for artfully weaving together modern and traditional materials, styles, and textures that point us all to the future of design.”

Entries were reviewed by a jury of design professionals including Jade Li, IIDA, Senior Interior Designer, Lamar Johnson Collaborative; Midori Shim, IIDA, IIDA South Florida Chapter President, Interior Designer, Gresham Smith; Ming Thompson, IIDA, AIA, Co-Founder, Atelier Cho Thompson.

“The jury was mesmerized by these design teams’ ability to fuse imagination, art, and purpose into spaces that need to have more meaning than ever for the patron and the owner,” said Li on the behalf of the jury. “Each firm utilized innovative elements and approaches to the type of space, its floor plans, and state-of-the-art furnishings.”
