IA Interior Architects – Northern California Appointments
The Executive Leadership of IA Interior Architects is pleased to announce some exciting developments in our Bay Area Offices, and within the firm. Mick McCullough, AIA, NCARB, will be vacating his Managing Director role of the San Francisco office to focus exclusively on his new role as Chief Operating Officer for the firm. Tied into this, we have promoted Don Lam, AIA, LEED AP, as Managing Director Bay Area Region. In this position, Don will lead IA’s San Francisco office and oversight of the Silicon Valley office, which he has guided since 1998. Taking over from Don to assist with the day-to-day operations in Silicon Valley is Colin O’Malley, LEED AP. Working closely with Don, Colin has been promoted to Managing Director of the Silicon Valley office. Nancy McEvers Anderson has been promoted to Director of Operations for the Bay Area; her management will continue the strength of operations between both offices.
“It’s very rewarding to return to the city where I started my career; I also look forward to my continued development of relationships in the entire Bay Area, working with our teams in both the San Francisco and Silicon Valley office,” says Don Lam.
Mick McCullough states, “Don’s broad experience with both the San Francisco and Silicon Valley markets made him the logical choice to lead the practice going forward. I have every confidence that he will improve upon the strong foundation that already exists.”
David Bourke, Executive Director of the firm, has this to say, “With these promotions, our goal is to maintain and grow the leadership that has brought us to this exciting moment over the years. These moves strengthen the Silicon Valley and San Francisco offices, and allow for new leadership to blossom.”
