Marita Schardt Joins IA Interior Architects in New York as Director of Workplace Strategy
We are pleased to announce that Marita Schardt has joined the New York office as Director of Workplace Strategy. Marita is a seasoned strategic planner with over 25 years of experience within corporate design, corporate real estate, and commercial real estate. In her role at IA, Marita will join the workplace strategy efforts in New York and collaborate firm-wide with each of our offices, connecting with our workplace design and architectural professionals across the firm.
Formerly at Gensler, PNC, and CBRE, Marita brings a wealth of experience in workplace strategy, market strategy, change management, and real estate strategy. Her notable workplace strategy projects include Goldman Sachs, Credit Suisse, JPMC, Weil Gotshal & Manges, and Hale and Dorr. Marita’s significant market strategy and change management projects include PNC and Bank of New York Mellon. Their growth, realignment and merger activity took her all over the Northeast and the Midwest. Finally, Marita’s key real estate strategy projects include assignments for Verizon, EDMC and the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy, among many others.
