To better serve its customers in the Pacific Northwest and on the West Coast, Gunlocke has joined forces with Kin, an independent manufacturers rep firm for the commercial interiors market. The firm will serve as an independent representative for Gunlocke, handling sales activities in Washington, Oregon, Montana, Alaska and Hawaii on behalf of the leading contract furniture manufacturer. Kin is led by co-owners Amy and Kyle Rudkin, a husband-and-wife team who bring nearly 30 combined years of experience in the industry.

Started as Fuller Associates by Amy’s father Russ Fuller in 1989, the Rudkins purchased the company in January, changing the name to Kin. Amy worked at Fuller Associates for 15 years before acquiring the company with her husband.

Since joining the industry in 2003, Amy has devoted her time to becoming an expert in the commercial, A&D, healthcare, hospitality, education and government sectors. She is a master multi-tasker and customer service pro, splitting her time between working with dealers, A&D professionals and customers. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Washington and is an active member of her local chapter of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA).

Kyle started with the company in 2013. Prior to joining the contract furniture industry, Kyle worked as a construction manager for 15 years. He has a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from the School of Architecture at the University of Washington.
