Flos Announces Appointment of New CEO of Flos USA

Flos, the world leading manufacturer of lighting solutions, is pleased to announce the appointment of Ann Schiffers as the new CEO of its Flos USA Subsidiary. Schiffers took over her new duties on September 15th, 2020 with all North American Flos Group operations (Flos USA and Flos Custom by Lukas Lighting) reporting directly to her.

Schiffers brings to Flos a deep knowledge and wealth of experience in the lighting design industry. Upon receiving her Master of Fine Arts in Architectural Lighting Design from Parsons School of Design – The New School, she worked in notable architectural lighting design firms in New York City. She then owned and operated her own lighting design firm, specializing in hospitality, academic and corporate projects throughout the United States. Throughout her career, Schiffers has gained 30 years’ experience in the lighting industry, using her design background to represent her clients’ needs and to work internally with product developers to realize refined aesthetics and product innovations with constant attention to brand awareness and visibility.

Most recently, Schiffers served as Senior Vice President of Specification Sales at USAI Lighting, where for 10 years she has driven outstanding sales growth and worked with top-tier lighting designers, architects, engineers and sustainability directors. Along with her expertise, she also brings valuable connections within the A&D community. With a collaborative and enthusiastic spirit, she will work to grow all facets of Flos USA’s business.
