Duravit Heads to HD Expo With Stunning New Collections + Timeless Classics
HD Expo Will Highlight the Brand’s Newest XSquare Collection and Tap Fitting Ranges Alongside Commercial Best-Sellers
Duravit will pair long-standing brand classics with fresh collections for the 2018 edition of HD Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada, May 2-4, Booth #5068. Exhibiting signature series like ME by Starck, L-Cube, and 2017’s DuraSquare, Duravit’s 200+ years of bathroom innovation will be highlighted through the brand’s thoughtfully balanced showcase of previous releases and new, innovative series.

New for 2018, the XSquare collection represents an invigorated and sleek aesthetic, with modern finishes, colors, and a geometric, savvy design language. In conjunction with designer Kurt Merki Jr., Duravit’s XSquare is a bathroom furniture range specially–attuned to the design of the contemporary DuraSquare washbasins. The eye-catching XSquare stands apart thanks to its striking quadrant-shaped chrome profile, which accentuates the edges of both the wall- and floor-mounted vanity options. On the floor-standing models, the transition from frame to leg is seamless. The chrome profile is an extension of the washbasin’s corner radius, creating both visual harmony and bold independence. Three new, special furniture finishes – matte light blue, matte concrete gray, and satin-matte aubergine – as well as the linen decor finish, round off XSquare’s vast color palette. XSquare’s furniture range is completed with new storage cabinets, mirrors, and mirror-storage solutions.
Duravit’s universal tap fitting range will also launch for the U.S. market at HD Expo, exemplifying the brand’s dedication to a cohesive, personalized aesthetic for the bathroom. The three ranges – B.1, B.2 and C.1 – will be on display. B.1 features soft, round contours, while B.2 boasts a straight-lined, striking design. The C.1 range, designed by Kurt Merki Jr., perfectly reflects Duravit’s simple, sharp design language of collections like the 2017 Vero Air and DuraSquare. An award-winning style, the C.1 range received the iF GOLD AWARD in 2018, testifying to its design excellence and innovation.
Making a welcomed reappearance to the Duravit booth will be familiar collections including: ME by Starck, L-Cube, and DuraSquare.

- Designed by Christian Werner, L-Cube approaches bathroom design with a modular sensibility, allowing users to implement the furniture as building blocks and embraces distinct design touches, such as a shadow gap on the fronts and sides of the furniture and an abundance of both traditional and unusual finishes.
