Designer Playlists by Duravit: Starck, Seiger, Merki & Werner Spinning Music for Creativity
Have you ever wondered what kind of music a designer dances to, sings along to and plays while working? DIFFA Grants Emergency Funds to Organizations Serving Those Affected by HIV/AIDS
DIFFA, in partnership with the ASID “Design Impacts Lives” Fund, will provide $50,000 in emergency grants to six of the organization’s grantees who have been working diligently throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Whether it’s caring for at-risk LGBTQIA youth, housing those living with HIV/AIDS, or feeding the elderly and those with compromised health, their service to the community has been astounding. DIFFA gladly stands with Ali Forney Center, Callen-Lorde Community Health Center, Gay Men’s Health Crisis,  God’s Love We Deliver, Hetrick-Martin Institute, and Housing Works (Bailey House) for continuing to advocate and serve the HIV/AIDS community. Beetle Mania: HBF Reissues an Icon
HBF has re-released the iconic Gubi Beetle chair. The instantly recognizable Gubi Beetle was inspired by the shape, shell, and structure of the eponymous insect. Designers GamFratesi found the anatomy of the beetle captivating, the thin and sculptural outer shell providing structure, form, and protection.
