Design Public Group, a technology leader in furniture specification and procurement, announced today its 2020 Advisory Board, welcoming seven members within the architecture and design industry from across the country to serve as trusted strategic advisors to the company. The advisory board will bring significant experience to Design Public Group, providing support to further their efforts in revolutionizing the interior design specification and procurement process.

About Bill Bouchey
Bill Bouchey is responsible for the interiors practice at HOK’s New York studio. His previous experience includes serving as the Director of Design at both VOA (now Stantec) and MMoser Associates. Prior to MMoser, Bouchey was a Design Principal at Mancini Duffy. His work has garnered numerous honors and received extensive coverage within the design media. Bouchey also serves on the editorial advisory board of Contract. He is a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT).
About Anne Cunningham
Anne Cunningham is currently the Interior Design Leader Creative Consultant at Tarpaulin Studio in Seattle. Prior to her current position, she was a Design Principal at NBBJ Architects where she led design projects for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Vulcan, R.C. Hedreen, Boeing, Microsoft, Nu Skin, the GSA and others. Her work has earned a number of prestigious honors to include the Best of Year from Interior Design and a National AIA Institute Honor Award for Interior Architecture. Ms. Cunningham is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
About Jennifer Haney
Jennifer Haney is currently the Creative Director at TPG Architecture in New York. Her prior experience includes time as a Senior Designer at both IA Interior Architects and HLW International LLP. Ms. Haney also has deep procurement and design experience from her stint as the FF&E Manager for UBS. She was educated at both the University of Florida and Clemson University.
About Primo Orpilla
Primo Orpilla is a Principal and Founder at Studio O+A in San Francisco. Mr. Orpilla is widely regarded as an innovator in smart, convention-challenging workplace design based on his efforts with a wide range of clients to include Facebook, Microsoft, Nike, Levi Strauss, McDonald’s, Ebay and others. He is a graduate of San Jose State University.
About Meg Prendergast
Meg Prendergast is a Principal at The Gettys Group in Chicago. Her extensive experience covers all aspects of hospitality design and a wide range of clients to include luxury resorts and spas, high-end residential projects and numerous upscale hotels. Prendergast has been widely recognized through various industry awards and has seen her work published in Hospitality Design, Boutique Design, and Lodging Hospitality Design among others. She is a graduate of Harrington College of Design.
About Brigitte Preston
Brigitte Preston currently serves as a Principal and Design Director at Perkins and Will in Dallas. She was also the owner and Design Principal at Lauckgroup prior to the firm’s merger with Perkins+Will. Brigitte has also worked at both XLG and HOK. A native of Belgium, she is known for her people-centric design approach on behalf of workplace, educational and nonprofit clients. She was educated at both Kansas State University and the Coloma Instituut.
About Joey Shimoda
Joey Shimoda is the co-founder and Chief Creative Officer at Shimoda Design Group. Prior to starting Shimoda Design Group, he worked at both KMJR and DMJM. Mr. Shimoda has done work for blue chip clients such as Rolex, Mikimoto and Warner Music Group amongst others. He is a graduate of California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
