Configura, maker of CET Designer software, announces the 10th annual CET Designer Awards – an awards program honoring best practices in use of the space-planning software.

“If you’ve created work in CET Designer of which you’re especially proud, now’s your time to shine,” Configura Vice President of Global Customer Experience Tracy Lanning said. “Each year, the submissions keep getting better and better – it’s incredible to see what our users create.”

The awards program is held annually in conjunction with the CET Designer User and Developer Conference; however, attendance at the conference isn’t required and there is no cost to enter. The deadline to submit entries is Oct. 13. Award winners will be announced during the 10th annual CET Designer User and Developer Conference in Las Vegas, Nov. 8-9.

CET Designer Awards categories:

  1. Best Success Story: 1st, 2nd and 3rd place awards
  2. Best Fly-Thru Video: 1st, 2nd and 3rd place awards
  3. Best Rendering:
    1. Office / Healthcare / Material Handling: 1st, 2ndand 3rd place awards
    2. Kitchen: 1st, 2nd and 3rd place awards
    3. Student rendering: 1st, 2nd and 3rd place awards
  4. Best 360 Panorama: 1st, 2nd and 3rd place awards

For the Best Success Story category, projects of all sizes are encouraged.

“Share your CET Designer success story – a project that you completed in CET Designer that won your dealership work, made a client happy or one that you’re just plain proud of!” Lanning said. “No need to be a CET Designer ‘rock star’ to win in this category; what we’re really looking for is how CET Designer helped to overcome a challenge or met an opportunity.”

Configura will award 18 prizes in four categories – including the top prize for the Best Success Story; the first-place winner in this category will receive $1,500.

About CET Designer

Based on technology created by Configura, CET Designer is intelligent, highly visual and intuitive space-planning software that simplifies specifying and selling of products in a variety of industries. It’s a complete solution that quickly and accurately handles every step of the sales and order process. In CET Designer, components that represent manufacturers’ products look and behave like actual products. Users drag and drop components into 2D and 3D virtual environments; behind the scenes, the software tracks components, calculates pricing and prevents user errors. Users can create and generate layouts, quotes, photorealistic renderings, movies, installation drawings, reconfigurations and bills of materials – in other words, everything needed to propose on work and place orders. CET Designer is the future of space planning. More information at www.configura.com/cet.
