BuzziSpace Opens New Showroom at Design Post Cologne

BuzziSpace, the global brand behind original acoustic, lighting and furniture solutions for happy, healthy workspaces, announces the launch of its new Cologne showroom, which opened on January 12th at Design Post during IMM.

Launching in conjunction with IMM 2020, BuzziSpace’s new permanent showroom space on the ground and first floor-levels of Design Post reflects the brand’s roots in innovative human-centric design by showcasing original acoustic, lighting and furniture solutions that balance sound, light, and air – key factors to employee happiness and well-being.

On view within a series of inspirational micro-environments all conceived to accommodate the changing needs of the modern office, one can discover firsthand the latest in products, trends, and ideas for creating a comfortable and well-balanced space – at work, or in any setting. BuzziSpace’s German team will also host several events and Lunch and Learns during the upcoming year.

Located within the historic halls of a former Deutz post office, Design Post is a dedicated open year-round exhibition space and platform for leading international design companies to present their latest launches and collections. At the same time, the space serves as a valuable conduit for inspiration and connectivity between end-users and members of the A+D community with today’s top interior brands. A convenient gathering spot as well for industry professionals attending IMM Cologne, Design Post is an exciting destination for companies, architects, designers, thought-leaders and consumers to foster ideas and exchange knowledge within a relaxing and motivational atmosphere.

BuzziDish

BuzziSpace’s first endeavor beyond two-dimensional wall solutions, BuzziDish is a high-performance series of 3D acoustic panels designed by Jeffrey Huyghe. Unique for its playful, rebellious character and distinct appearance reminiscent of a satellite dish, BuzziDish features a fabric-upholstered body paired with a perforated structure and acoustic foam core interior, efficiently mitigating noise by absorbing undesired sound waves to help create a more pleasant and acoustically-balanced space in open-plan environments.

BuzziBracks

Developed in collaboration with designer Alain Gilles, BuzziBracks is a series of freestanding modular units that can be combined and mixed-and-matched in numerous ways to create mircroenvironments within large, open-plan spaces. This unique approach offers a flexible, highly adaptable framework to easily carve out small, designated areas that can be easily customized to take on a wide range of functions, as well as cater to individuals’ unique needs and preferences with various heights, sizes, and optional accessory add-ons.

BuzziShade XXL

Additionally, BuzziSpace expands its iconic BuzziShade family with two new plus-sized styles, BuzziShade XL and BuzziShade XXL. Ideal statement pieces for lobbies and reception areas, BuzziShade XL-XXL also efficiently trap sound waves as they travel upwards, preventing them from bouncing and creating reverberation. Paired with the pendants’ acoustic felt-upholstered bodies, BuzziShade XL-XXL effectively combat mid and high-tones alike through the principles of diffusion and absorption, reducing external noise levels to a minimum for improved well-being and productivity in any communal setting.
