BIFMA Announces Election of New Members to Board of Directors

BIFMA announces the election of new industry leaders to its Board of Directors. Kristie Juster, Chief Executive Officer at Kimball International, and Matt Schad, CEO of Nucraft Furniture Company, were elected at the May meeting of the Board.

Kristie Juster

Kristie Juster became CEO of Kimball International in 2018 and prior to that served for over 20 years as a Global Executive at Newell Brands. Throughout her career, Ms. Juster has driven significant growth for the businesses she has led through brand innovation, distribution channel expansion including e-commerce, and a global mindset. She is a graduate of Cornell University.

Matt Schad

Matt Schad held positions in product development and operations before becoming CEO of Nucraft. Prior to joining the company, he was an attorney practicing in Washington, DC. Matt is a 1994 graduate of Amherst College where he majored in Economics, a 1998 graduate of Wake Forest School of Law, and received his Executive MBA from Notre Dame in 2014.

BIFMA Executive Director, Thomas Reardon, welcomed the election of these executives. “The furniture industry is fortunate to have leaders with diverse backgrounds willing to offer their vision of the future, especially as we all address the profound challenges in the workplace and world today.”
