Baresque Launches Portable Office Dividers; Acoustical Wall/Ceiling Tiles

New Zintra™ Products Offer Versatile Office Division Options and Surface-Mount Sound Reduction for Walls and Ceilings

Australian interior finishes manufacturer Baresque announced the North American launch of Zintra™ Acoustic Concertina and Zintra on Zintra® Tiles, two new products for office environments, according to Baresque Executive Director Angus Blaiklock.

The two products respectively offer sound-reduction in combination with office space division and freeform aesthetic sound abatement for walls.

“Acoustic Concertina and Zintra on Zintra Tiles continue our 2016 focus on commercial office spaces,” Blaiklock said. “Each works quite well in providing equal parts aesthetic and sound-reduction performance while offering space planning flexibility.”

Zintra Acoustic Concertina screens are a new take on Baresque’s Zintra ½” Acoustic Panel. Concertina employs plain or Zintra on Zintra panels connected with flexible straps to form a lightweight, portable partition. Also available with a stand, Concertina requires no assembly and can be folded up for storage. The panels are available in 16 standard colors.

Zintra on Zintra Tiles provide an interior designer with limitless creative options for both wall décor and sound abatement. These surface-mountable tiles provide freeform acoustic and aesthetic solutions for walls, ceilings and glass partitions, and can be arranged as individual shapes, clusters or arrays. The tiles, which are shipped in groups of eight, are easily installed onto a variety of substrates with adhesive and can also be affixed with magnets and suction cups for easy removal and redesign. Zintra on Zintra Tiles are available in seven standard designs in nominal sizes of 24”x24”x1” (with 4”x4” magnet wall plate, if specified), providing hundreds of design options.

Both Zintra Acoustic Concertina and Zintra on Zintra Tiles achieve a noise reduction coefficient of 0.45-1.0, depending upon positioning, and a Class A Flame Spread (in accordance with ASTM-E84).
