7.14.15 | New York, NY | On June 25th, 2015 Nancy Jackson, President of Architectural Systems Inc., was inducted into her seventh consecutive term as an IIDA (International Interior Design Association) New York Board Member.

“I am honored to accept my seventh term as a board member of the IIDA New York Chapter,” said Ms. Jackson. “I am looking forward to planning new and impactful hospitality events that continue to inspire the design community.”

Ms. Jackson’s most significant role within the Association is serving as Co-Chair and Moderator of the IIDA New York Hospitality Forum. This year’s Forum, held in March at the refreshed Haworth Showroom, discussed the timely topic, ‘Customizing the Guest Experience in Hospitality.’ During the moderated discussion, a panel of renowned leaders in hospitality design from different parts of the country gave their viewpoint on design challenges the industry faces including the arrival of Airbnb, the advent of “bleisure” (the blurring of business and leisure destinations) and the impact of social media for the modern traveler. The panel discussion kicked off with Barry Richards, Co-Chair and Digital Moderator of the Forum, delivering the ten macro trends of 2015 utilizing the Haworth’s impressive new BlueScape technology.

The Hospitality Forum brought an outstanding number of guests, members of the press and revenue for the IIDA New York Chapter.
