Allsteel and Henricksen Host the 5th Annual Brooklyn Crab Event, a Celebration on Land and Water

Allsteel Inc. and Henricksen, an Allsteel independent contract furniture dealer, co-hosted the 5th Annual Brooklyn Crab celebratory event on September 14 in New York City.

More than 150 guests, including designers, project managers, partners and clients, took a sunset water-taxi ride from Manhattan, down the East River, under the Brooklyn Bridge, past the Statue of Liberty and on to Brooklyn’s storied Red Hook waterfront where they disembarked. There they mixed and mingled at the Brooklyn Crab restaurant, a classic open-air seafood “shack,” enjoying cocktails and a raw bar before proceeding upstairs for a lobster and crab dinner. In addition, guests entered their business cards in a drawing for a Form Wood rocking chair, one of the pieces from Allsteel’s new partnership with Normann Copenhagen, the Danish furniture and accessories brand. At the end of the festivities, party goers were ferried back to Manhattan.
