7th Annual IIDA Global Excellence Award Winners Announced
The International Interior Design Association (IIDA), in collaboration with Designworks, a BMW Group Company, is pleased to announce the winners of the 7th annual IIDA Global Excellence Awards. This annual worldwide design competition honors and celebrates outstanding originality and excellence in the creation of international interior design and interior architecture projects.
āOne of the most rewarding aspects of the Global Excellence Awards is seeing how global design trends are executed in a way that reflects local traditions,ā said IIDA Executive Vice President and CEO Cheryl S. Durst, Hon. FIIDA, LEED AP. āThe international nature of the competition inspires as the impact of interior design continues to grow in communities around the world.ā
Projects for the Global Excellence Awards were reviewed by Johannes Lampela, Director of Design, Designworks LA, BMW Group Company; Mary Jo Miller, Ind. IIDA, VP of Design and Development, HBF Textiles; Brett Shwery, IIDA, AAIA, CID, LEED AP BD+C, SVP, Corporate Workplace, AECOM; andĀ Anabella Smith, Principal and Director of Interior Design, Zyscovich Architects.
