Three New OFM Distribution Centers in Kansas, Pennsylvania and Washington State Now Open
Additional locations now offer same-day shipping and faster delivery to dealer network
OFM, an office and school furniture manufacturer, distributor, and wholesaler, is stocking its first products beginning this week at three new distribution centers in Kansas, Pennsylvania and Washington as part of a new contract with a national third-party logistics provider (3PL) to house additional inventory. This expansion allows OFM to distribute its products from a total of five locations around the country as part of an innovative business development effort to support its continued growth over the next 20 years.
“We are very excited to announce the official opening of these new centers because they are so indicative of the kind of growth and success we’ve had, especially over the last five years,” said Blake Zalcberg, chief executive officer of OFM. “With added inventory ready for same-day ship we can enhance the customer experience and meet the growing demand of our products.”
The new distribution points in Kansas, Pennsylvania and Washington State join OFM’s existing locations in North Carolina and Arizona, making for a total of five centers around the country. Through the additional inventory, all of its dealers can receive their shipments in less time and with less damages as a result of reducing the number of on-loading/off-loading steps.
