Crossville Launches Oceanaire Tile Collection

Crossville Oceanaire

Product Captures Natural, Fractal Design Details in Large Format Tiles

Crossville Oceanaire2Crossville, Inc. has launched Oceanaire, a porcelain tile collection designed to capture the appearance of sea- and sand-swept natural stone. The line is notable for its multidirectional striations interpreted in five gradient color options and a range of versatile size optionsā€”including large formats and a mosaic option.

ā€œThis line is inspired by the vast scenery associated with the ocean, but it really comes to life in its details and subtlety,ā€ explains Lindsey Waldrep, vice president of marketing for Crossville

ā€œStriations coming from every direction, nuanced color optionsā€”the look takes you beachside.ā€

Oceanaireā€™s color optionsā€”Ashore, Current, Hightide, Waverunner, and Seamountā€”offer an earthen palette that ranges from lighter to darker tones. Each color comes in both unpolished and honed finishes.

ā€œThe finish gives a unique cast to the tiles,ā€ Waldrep shares. ā€œItā€™s fun to not only mix and match colors to create custom patterns, but also to interplay the honed and unpolished finishes to design really sophisticated installations.ā€

Field tile size options for Oceanaire are 24ā€x24ā€, 12ā€x24ā€, 18ā€x36ā€, and 6ā€x36ā€. The line offers a 4ā€x24ā€ bullnose, as well. For even more design versatility, the collectionā€™s 2ā€x6ā€ mesh-backed mosaics provide lots of installation possibilities. Crossvilleā€™s Get Planked sizes may also be requested.

Oceanaire is suitable for commercial and residential interior floors, walls, countertops, and exterior walls in both residential and commercial applications. Full installation recommendations may be found online and in product literature.

In keeping with all products produced at Crossvilleā€™s Tennessee manufacturing facilities, Oceanaire is made using third-party certified, sustainable processes, is Green Squared certified, and contains a minimum 4% recycled content.
