KEILHAUER EXPANDS THE AWARD-WINNING MELETE COLLECTION

The Melete chair now offered with a functional stool base

February 16, 2023 (Toronto) – Launching today, Keilhauer is expanding the award-winning Melete collection to include a stool base.

Originally launched at NeoCon 2022, Melete is a modern carbon neutral chair that is grounded in timeless Swedish design sensibilities and designed to elevate any interior design environment. With endless design options to choose from, like three heights, arms or armless, seat pads and now seven bases, Melete is one of Keilhauer’s most adaptable, versatile products.

The all-new stool base model has been added to the Melete seating collection due to popular demand and the success of the Juxta stool, another standout Keilhauer collection. Similar to the Juxta stool, the Melete stool base features five casters, an adjustable height function, a circular, supportive footrest and the unique, sculptural Melete backrest.

“The Melete seating collection is about the marriage of beauty and function,” says Meghan Sherwin, Chief Marketing Officer. “We are excited to provide this new Melete feature to our designers and customers, which will expand what is possible with this design.”

Ideal for a variety of spaces such as collaboration areas and office lunchrooms, the addition of the Melete stool base allows this stylish, beautiful design to be configured in even more design environments.

Designed by Swedish studio Afteroom, Melete is a winner of a Best of NeoCon Sustainability Award, an Interior Design HiP Award, and a Good Design Award. Melete was also an honoree at the 2022 Interior Design Best of Year Awards.
